A Guide to Japan Visa Application for Filipino Travelers (2023)

Japan is a popular travel destination for Filipinos, known for its unique culture, advanced technology, and picturesque landscapes. However, before packing your bags and booking your flights, Filipino travelers need to secure a visa to enter Japan. In this travel blog, I will provide you with a comprehensive guide on the Japan visa application process for Filipino travelers.

Types of Visa:

There are various types of visas that Filipino travelers can apply for when visiting Japan. The most common types of visas are tourist, business, and transit visas. Tourist visas are issued to those who intend to visit Japan for sightseeing or vacation, while business visas are for those who have business transactions in Japan. Transit visas are for those who are in transit to another country but will have a stopover in Japan.

A tourist visa is a single-entry visa, which allows for a stay of up to 90 days. For those planning to visit Japan multiple times in a year, the multiple-entry visa is ideal. This visa allows for a stay of up to 15, 30, or 90 days per entry, with a validity period of up to 10 years.
