Taiwan's Tourism Bonanza: Get Paid to Explore Paradise with NT$5,000!

Taiwan is one of the most beautiful and vibrant countries in Asia, boasting a rich culture, fascinating history, and breathtaking landscapes. To encourage international tourism, the Taiwanese government has recently announced that it will give 5,000 New Taiwan dollars (approximately $170 USD / or about P9,000) to each international tourist who visits Taiwan. This exciting initiative is part of Taiwan's efforts to revitalize its tourism industry, which has been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you're looking for a unique and exciting travel destination, Taiwan should definitely be on your list. From Taipei's bustling city streets to Nantou's serene natural beauty, there's something for everyone in Taiwan. And with the added cash bonus incentive, there's never been a better time to visit.

Additionally, those traveling as a group can also receive cash incentives from the government of NT$10,000 (around P17,900) for groups with 8 to 14 members and NT$20,000 (around P35,900) for groups with more members. Up to 90,000 groups can enjoy this subsidy program.

The Taiwan government is targeting to attract many tourists from Japan, Australia,  South Korea, Europe, North America, and other Asian countries such as the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and many more.

As of this writing, the proposal is still under review and has yet to be finalized.  I will post the official guidelines once confirmed on my Facebook page and other social media accounts.

One of the must-see attractions in Taiwan is Taipei 101, the iconic skyscraper that towers over the city skyline. This building was once the tallest in the world and still offers stunning views of Taipei from its observation deck. The National Palace Museum is another popular destination, with its vast collection of Chinese art and artifacts that spans over 8,000 years of history.

Taiwan has plenty of options as well. Rainbow Military Housing is one of the famous spots in Taichung that offers a vibrant and colorful housing complex where you can find bright colors and unique drawings on the walls. Sun Moon Lake is another popular destination, with its tranquil waters and picturesque surroundings.

Taiwan is also known for its delicious food, and no visit would be complete without sampling some of the local cuisines. From night markets to high-end restaurants, there's something for every taste and budget. Be sure to try the famous beef noodle soup, stinky tofu, and bubble tea while you're there.

Filipinos can travel visa-free to Taiwan until July 31, 2023. Except for those holding diplomatic or official/service passports, those with Philippine passports can stay there for up to 14 days.

In conclusion, Taiwan is a fascinating and beautiful country that offers something for every traveler. And with the added cash bonus incentive, there's never been a better time to visit. So pack your bags, book your trip, and get ready to discover all that Taiwan has to offer.
