The Philippines leading airline, Cebu Pacific, held a welcome party for ASEAN influencers last September 20, at the Social House, Circuit Makati.

As the Philippines takes the helm of the ASEAN Chairmanship in 2017, its leading airline Cebu Pacific will fly top travel and lifestyle influencers to world-class destinations in the Pearl of the Orient, including YouTuber Salshabilla of Indonesia, YouTuber Phở Đặc Biệt of Vietnam, beauty and lifestyle influencer Johanis Sani of Malaysia, lifestyle and beauty YouTuber Baby Mojiko of Thailand, and beauty influencer and freelance model Elaine Jasmine of Singapore.

During the event, the ASEAN influencers experienced the "boodle fight," a meal that dispensed with cutlery and dishes. Some popular Filipino dishes placed on top of a long banana leaf like grilled chicken sambal, fried spring rolls, tamarind fried fish, cumi bakar kecap, stir fry mix vegetables, Filipino beef tapa, ensaladang talong, salted eggs and tomatoes and tropical mixed fruits.

I really enjoyed this boodle fight. Eating food with hands was really fun. The food was great! The grilled chicken sambal and stir fry mix vegetables were my favorites.

Kontemporaryong Gamelan Pilipino, a cultural music group from University of the Philippines' College of Arts & Letters and Cheats, a Pinoy indie rock band known for its upbeat and celebratory music, graced the event and they provided a live musical entertainment.

Overall, it's a fun evening with live art and musical performances, fun games and unlimited food and drinks. Everyone enjoyed the welcome party.

Meanwhile, from September 20-26, the ASEAN One travelers will be visiting the unspoiled islands of the Central Visayas region, where they will be offered exciting line up of activities, highlighting the similarities between the ASEAN nations, the rice and good food; fun with friends, revelry and dancing, and the rich marine life and clear blue seas.

CEB currently offers over 100 weekly flights to seven ASEAN country destinations, with 11 weekly flight to Indonesia; 21 weekly flights to Malaysia; 40 weekly flights to Singapore; seven weekly flights to Thailand, 15 weekly flights to Vietnam; five weekly flights to Brunei ad 4 weekly flights to Cambodia.
