A Photowalk in Intramuros with the new Huawei P10

Mobile phone is one of the best gadgets to save and share great memories. Some of us are carrying the latest mobile phone models. We use our smartphone for calling, texting, checking emails, browsing the net and playing games.

One of the biggest selling points of a smartphone is the camera. The photo and video quality of some smartphones could come close to match the output of a DSLR.

Anyone can pick a mobile phone and take a photo, but not all can create a truly great image. Today, taking incredible photos with a mobile phone is actually very easy.  Just  like the new Huawei P10, you can easily capture beautiful and stunning photos.

Recently, I used the Huawei P10 on a photowalk in Intramuros Manila. It was after launch when we started to roam around in the Walled City. The Huawei P10 is a beautifully designed masterpiece inside and out. It's sleek and slim for a comfortable to hold at 6.98mm. This new smartphone  proudly boasts a 5.1-inch, 1080 Full HD display at  the front and sporting the latest Corning Gorilla 5 Glass protection and narrow bezel edges.

The P10 arrives with Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 960 octa-core chipset and 4GB of RAM and runs on  the latest Android 7.0 operating system, providing top-end performance.

The  Huawei P10 's new Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 featuring the rear dual-camera setup and Leica front camera is perfect for portrait and landscape photography. With a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor, a 12-megapixel RGB sensor and enhanced fusion algorithms, the new P Series delivers superior technical and artistic photography features on a smartphone.

I'm surprised on the quality of my shots. Photos are natural and beautiful, with vivid colors. It's really impressive. The sensor works well in daylight conditions even in a low light. The Huawei P10 has a manual camera control feature where you can adjust the ISO, exposure, autofocus, etc. There's no need to enhance the photos using third party apps because photos are already beautiful. All you need is save it or share it on your social media accounts

Co-developed with GoPro, the Huawei P10 also feature Highlights, a mobile editing tool which creates a dynamic video of pusers' images and 4K resolution videos complete with transitions and music tracks- the first in any smartphone. The video quality is crisp and clear.

With 3200 mAH batteries, the Huawei P10 support Huawei SuperCharge technology. The low voltage, low temperature fast charging solution comes with a super safe 5 gate-protection mechanism,  which offers real time voltage, current and temperature to make charging not only fast but safe.

The P10 is a dual-SIM device (one of the SIM slots doubles as a microSD card reader) that supports all the major LTE bands which means it will work on most GSM networks just fine. It also features microSD support up to 256GB,  Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802,GPS, A-GPS and others.

Inside the box includes Huawei P10, 4.5A charger, USB Type-C cable, Protective case, In-ear, headphones, Information leaflets and SIM ejector pin.

With great specifications, I recommend the Huawei P10 for those into a mobile photography. This smartphone captures quality photos and videos. I must say I can bring only the P10 without my DSLR. I can able to capture amazing photos either on the auto mode or manual mode. Huawei made a big leap forward with P10- one of the best phones it's ever created.

The Huawei P10 is available at the price of Php 28,990 via Huawei Experience Stores and retail partners nationwide. Available color variants are Dazzling Blue, PrestigeGold and Graphite Black.

Meanwhile, Intramuros is the oldest district and historic core of Manila, Philippines. It is also called the Walled City, and at the time of the Spanish Colonial Period was synonymous to the city of Manila itself. It was the seat of government when the Philippines was a component realm of the Spanish Empire. You can find here some of the oldest church in the Philippines like San Agustin Church, Manila Cathedral, San Ignacio Church, San Francisco Church, and Lourdes church. One of  the famous spots in Intramuros is Fort Santiago.
