Cebu Pacific's Inaugural Pride Flight Soars High

Cebu Pacific embarks on an extraordinary journey this Pride Month with its groundbreaking Pride flight, setting a new standard for diversity, inclusivity, and equality. On June 5, CEB Flight 5J 905 took off from Manila to Boracay, operated by a remarkable team of LGBTQIA+ members and allies who proudly represent the airline's unwavering commitment to celebrate every individual.

Aboard the flight, passengers were greeted with thrilling Pride-themed surprises, engaging games, and an exclusive opportunity to win complimentary roundtrip domestic flight tickets, among other delightful experiences.

The Pride Flight serves as just the first installment of CEB's exciting lineup of Pride Month events. Throughout June, the airline will host a series of training programs and online courses, fostering equity and advocating for gender sensitivity in the workplace.

In addition, CEB has planned several fundraising initiatives to support the noble cause of the non-profit organization, Golden Gays. The funds raised from these activities will go towards providing assistance to elderly members of the Golden Gays community.

Back in 2019, CEB made history in Philippine aviation by employing the first transwomen cabin crew, Jess Labares and Mikee Vitug. This milestone serves as a testament to the airline's unyielding dedication to cultivating an inclusive workplace environment.
