Need to register your SIM card? If you're a new mobile user in the Philippines or you've been using a mobile phone for a while but haven't registered your SIM card yet, it's essential to do so to prevent any fraudulent activities and ensure your safety. Registering your SIM card is a straightforward process that you can do by yourself. In this blog, I'll provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to register your SIM card.



Choose your preferred mobile network provider


There are several mobile network providers in the Philippines, including Smart,  Dito, Talk & Text, Sun Cellular and Globe. Choose the network provider that suits your needs best. 


DITO subscribers: dito.ph/RegisterDITO

Globe/TM subscribers: new.globe.com.ph/simreg

Smart/TNT/Sun subscribers: smart.com.ph/simreg


Steps to Register Your Globe or TM SIM Card


1. Go to new.globe.com.ph/simreg.

2. Enter your 10-digit Globe or TM mobile number and click Register.

3. Type in the one-time code that will be sent to your number.

4. Fill out the online form to verify your identity. You’ll need to provide your full name, address, date of birth, and gender. You’ll also need a valid ID and provide its ID number.

5. Take a selfie or upload a photo of your valid ID.

6. Tick the boxes and click Next to complete your registration.

7. Take note of your reference number. You’ll receive an SMS regarding your successful SIM card registration.


Please be advised that existing Globe postpaid subscribers will be notified regarding the confirmation and completion of their registration details.


Steps To Register Your Smart or TNT SIM Card


1. Visit smart.com.ph/simreg.

2. Enter your 10-digit Smart or TNT mobile number and tick the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice boxes.

3. Click Send OTP.

4. Enter the code and click Verify OTP.

5. Complete your profile and attach a copy of a valid government ID.

6. Take note of your Control Number for further validation. You may also receive a call or an SMS regarding your successful 7. SIM card registration.


Steps to Register Your Dito SIM Card


1. If you’re an existing subscriber, launch your Dito app, click on the SIM Registration banner, and fill out the form. You may also visit dito.ph/RegisterDITO

2. Take a selfie with your valid id and input the  OTP for verification

3. Click and submit and you are done.

Can I register more than one SIM card number in the Philippines?


Yes. You must register each new or active SIM card under your name.


Can I register a sim for my business?


If you’re using a SIM card under your company name, it should be registered by the authorized company representative.


Important Details:


1. Sim registration is until April 26, 2023. 

2. SIMs not registered within the said period shall be automatically DEACTIVATED.

3.  For complaints and concerns related to SIM Registration, you may call 1326 free of charge.
