Located in the province of Aurora, Baler is known for its beautiful coastline, great surfing waves, and breathtaking natural attractions. In this blog, I will share with you a travel guide to the best Baler destinations that you shouldn't miss on your next trip.


Ditumabo Falls

Sabang Beach is the most popular beach in Baler and is known for its impressive waves, making it a favorite spot for surfers. But even if you're not into surfing, the beach's wide expanse of golden sand and clear blue waters make it an ideal spot for a leisurely swim or a relaxing day at the beach. Sabang Beach is also home to several resorts and restaurants, so you can easily spend a few days here without running out of things to do.

2. Ditumabo Falls

If you're up for a short trek, Ditumabo Falls is definitely worth a visit. Located in Barangay Ditumabo, the falls can be reached by a 30-minute hike through lush forests and scenic rivers. The cascading waterfalls stand at 140 feet and offer a refreshing swim in its turquoise pool. The trek itself is already an adventure, and the sight of the majestic falls is definitely worth the effort.

How to get to Baler


Bus company such as Genesis Transport offers daily trips to Baler, Aurora. Book your ticket at the Cubao Bus Terminal in Quezon City or Pasay City. You have two options, the regular air-conditioned bus or the premium bus Joy Bus.


The Joy Bus is P750 per person while the regular bus is P450. The premium deluxe bus is fully equipped with a FREE WIFI connection, blanket, pillow, snack, and a hygiene kit as well as a bus stewardess to assist you. The travel time with Joy Bus is faster than the regular bus which will take around 5 hours. 


Another option is to take a Victory Line bus in Cubao Quezon City bound for Cabanatuan and then transfer to a public van going to Baler. The van travel time is around 2-3 hours.
