The hostel is one of the backpacker's favorite when it comes for a budget-friendly accommodation. Compared with other hotel rooms in the area, Mad Monkey Hostel is much affordable. The air-conditioned room can accommodate up to 8 pax. Each bed comes with comfy bed with white bedding, a small fan, and charging ports.
There are available lockers for each guest where you can put their belongings. Fresh towels are available in the reception area. You can request for it and pay a deposit of Php100 which is refundable after check out.

Looking for a swimming pool? Good thing the resort has a cozy swimming pool which is around 4 feet deep. The pool is surrounded with colorful bean bags where you can sit and relax. It's allowed to drink near the pool. At night, the pool area is stunning with glowing lights.
If you need food, the hostel has restaurant that offers several meals. It also serves refreshing juices / smoothies and alcoholic drinks. Desserts are available as well. Food is a bit pricey. No worries, their food is presented well and it's good.
What's unique about Mad Monkey Siargao? Aside from the chill vibes of their restaurant and pool, each room bathroom's wall are painted with arts. It's catchy and pleasing to eyes. You can do your thing inside the bathroom while looking to the details of the paintings. You would surely enjoy staying longer in the bathroom. LOL
Other thing I like about the hostel, their customer service is superb. Their staff are very friendly and accommodating. No wonder why the hostel is always fully booked. Majority of their guests are foreigners and some of them are backpackers. I tried to talk to them and they are super nice. It's nice to talk to strangers and to share your travel adventures. Try it when you stay in Mad Monkey.
From Friday to Sunday, expect crowd in their restaurant. Even you are not resorts' guest, you are allowed to enter to the restaurant. Most of the time, there's a acoustic session until 10PM. The hostel follows the rule of the local government. They only play loud music until 10PM. After that time, they are using their big speaker to play music.

From the airport, you can take a van or tricycle going to General Luna. Tell the driver to drop you off in Mad Monkey Hostel.
From the Dapa Port, you can take a habal-habal or tricycle going to General Luna. Tell the driver to drop you off in Mad Monkey Hostel. Fare is from Php150-Php200 (Special ride). It's advisable to take a tricycle in the terminal. It's a few steps from the port. Fare is P40.
