Sirao Flower Farm | Mini Amsterdam Garden Of Cebu

Not so new, but a beautiful flower garden in Sirao is one of the tourist destinations that you need to include on your itinerary if you are in Cebu. The eye-catching and instagram-worthy view garden is called Sirao Flower Farm, which also known as Mini Amsterdam Garden of Cebu.

Sirao Flower Farm features yellow, orange and red celosia, locally known as “burlas.” These flowers came from Netherlands and became the Official Flower of Sinulog. The place offers the best venue for selfies, groupies and pre-nuptial pictorials.

Inside the garden, you will find a mini windmill which they call “Little Amsterdam.” It's one of the colorful attractions in the farm that you need to take photo or selfie.  

How to get to Sirao Flower Farm

• Take a jeep or cab going to JY Square located at the end of Salinas drive in Lahug
• Then ride a habal-habal in JY Square Mall in Barangay Lahug. Travel time is around 40-45 minutes Habal Habal fare is around P150-P200 roundtrip

• Entrance fee is 30 Pesos
• Prenup shoot or making some videos (for commercial purposes) will cost you P200/person
• Celosia flowers are sold for 35-40 pesos (optional)

Travel Guide / Tips / Reminders

• If you have pollen allergy, this place is not advisable for you or better yet put mask on your face or bring meds for allergy
• The farm is not huge, so expect crowd during weekends and holiday season
• Flowers are harvested for the All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day commemorations
• It's advisable to go to this farm around January or February. 
• Do not touch or step the flowers. 
• Do not throw your garbage anywhere in the farm.
• You can bring your your own food
