Visiting Subic Bay anytime soon?

Subic Bay is a perfect destination for those who want to unwind and experience different adventures. It offers several tourist destinations and exciting activities that would surely enjoy by everyone. In our recent trip to Subic Bay, we tried several activities like nature tripping, trekking, sailing and food tripping.

Before we go to El Kabayo Trail, we took first our breakfast in Jollibee. We ordered breakfast value meals like Corn Beef, Breakfast Steak, Longganisa, Hotdog and Pancakes. While waiting for our food, Jollibee surprised and entertained us with his energetic performance. He's very cool!

El Kabayo Subic Trail (Trekking, Nature Tripping)

The El Kabayo Subic Trail is a great activity for all ages especially for nature lovers. You can find here pristine natural scenery and can breath with refreshing air. There's no ascending trails and almost cover with big plants and trees. Our guide was nice and informative. He always pointed out the different kinds of trees and plants and their uses.

We took a break for awhile and one of the guides demonstrated some jungle survival training course. He showed us how to make spoon, fork, and a cup made from bamboo using his handy knife and how to make fire with only wood shavings and friction from the bamboo. It looks easy but it's really hard if you do it by yourself.

The waterfalls is one of the highlights of our tour. I'm expecting it's a big waterfalls but it's not. Dipping your body into the cold water is really refreshing after long hours of trekking. It could calm your body and mind. You would enjoy this waterfalls but it’s always important to exercise caution on slippery rocks.

The tour was very educational, fun, and at the same time an opportunity to support the indigenous community. This activity is perfect to share with your family and friends.

Together with my media and blogger friends, we tried the sunset sailing in a luxury yatch. It's big, spacious and very glamorous. We don't miss to take the opportunity of taking pictures inside the yatch. The sunset was perfect during our photoshoot. It's what of a kind experience.

By the way, the Subic Sailing Club was formerly known as the Saturday Afternoon Gentlemen Sailors (SAGS) is a community of entrepreneurs, expatriates and sports enthusiast with the love of boating. Their unbridled passion and commitment to sailing have made Subic Bay as one of the best yacht racing destination in the country.

Teppan 101 (Food Trip)

After a long hours of tour, we took our dinner in one of the best restaurants in Olangapo City, the Teppan 101. It offers a  Japanese style of cusine where the food is cook with iron griddle. The name of the restaurant is from the word "teppan" which means iron plate.

The food was cooked in front of us. Chefs were doing some stunning dinning performance where they throw knives, perform tricks and  juggle salt and pepper. We're also surprised on a flaming grilling table. It's a little bit scary but entertaining.

The food was delicious and exceeded  my expectation. I also enjoyed the cozy ambience of the restaurant. It's a must visit food destination in Subic

Where  to stay in Subic Bay?

LightHouse Marina is one of the best hotels to stay while in Subic. It's on the Subic Waterfrontl and  very close to shopping centers, restaurants and recreational places. It has a swimming pool, a restaurant and a 24-hour room service. Each room room has air conditioning, comfy beds, cable tv, refrigerator, toiletries and complimentary coffee and water.

One of the best spots in the hotel is the magnificent Lighthouse tower.  You can go up and view the  beauty of the bay and some areas in Subic. It's also a perfect background for your photos, a truly instagrammable destination. At night, it's more vibrant with its colorful lights. Amazing tower!

It's one of the best boutique hotels I tried in the North. Our room has a a great ambience and comfy bed. The stunning bay views was very relaxing especially in the morning. Staff are also accommodating and friendly. A highly recommended hotel in Subic Bay.
