Parola Island | The Hidden Gem of Camarines Norte

Near Jose Panganiban Municipal Office, we took a boat going to Parola Island. The boat was big enough to accommodate around 20 to 25 pax. Our travel was smooth and it took us 40 minutes to reach the island. We're welcomed with a beautiful long stretch of white powdery sand beach and crystal clear waters.

Parola Island also known as Pink Beach is one of the hidden gems of Camarines Norte. It's virgin and unspoiled beach surrounded with semi pinkish color, a mixture of white sand and a rough reddish one (miniature coral fragments). The island also fringed with coconut trees and several plants. There's an old Parola (Lighthouse) standing at the heart of the island. It's damaged, no longer working due to rains, too much sun exposure and natural calamities.

Aside from Calaguas Island in the town of Vinzons, Parola Island is one of the best beach in Camarines Norte. It's a destination where you can truly relax while enjoying the beauty and serenity of the place. The island is perfect for campers and nature lovers.

We enjoyed taking photos here. Every spot was perfect for that memorable capture. Swimming also in its turquoise water was refreshing and relaxing. I'm just like a kid while playing the sand and water. Walking along the shoreline was also the best to do in the island. It's simple yet fulfilling activity.

There's no accommodation in Parola island. You can bring air bed, hammock or tent if you want to stay overnight. There's only cottage available in the island where you can stay to protect you from rain and direct heat of the sun.

Boat rate is as low as P4000 /boat for 20 to 25 pax.

How to Get to Parola Island
