First Impression
As I stepped onto the beautiful ship, aptly named "Resorts World One," I was immediately greeted by a warm and welcoming crew. Their smiles and genuine hospitality made me feel like a VIP guest from the moment I arrived. The ship was huge, luxurious, and had a classic design. Excitement coursed through my veins as I ventured to my stateroom, a sanctuary of comfort and elegance that would be my home for the 3 nights and 4 days.
Comfy Accommodations
Let’s talk about the accommodations, especially my room on the grand ship. I stayed in an air-conditioned room with 2 single beds. It has also a table and chair, a lampshade, a small comfy couch, a cabinet, a hot and cold shower, an electric kettle with glasses, fresh towels, and complimentary toiletries. The room’s space was enough to accommodate 2 people. What I like about this room was its window offering a lovely view of the ocean.
Apart from the Oceanview Stateroom, Resort World One offers several rooms depending on your budget and needs. It has Palace Suite, Balcony Stateroom, Palace Villa, Palace Suite, and Palace Villa. If you are looking for the best room, you can book the Palace Villa. It’s the biggest and most spacious room in the vessel which can accommodate up to 4 people. It has king size bed, 1 double sofa bed, a balcony, and other room essentials that will make your stay comfortable. If you also upgrade to the Palace Room, you have access to the Palace Pool.
A Gastronomic Journey at Sea
Eat All you can! Yes, you read it right! The food is unlimited- from breakfast, lunch to dinner, even on the afternoon and midnight snack. You should prepare your taste buds for a culinary adventure like no other. Resorts World Cruises takes great pride in its diverse dining options, offering a multitude of restaurants and cuisines to satisfy even the most discerning palates.
Indulge in mouthwatering dishes created by world-renowned chefs, savor authentic flavors from around the globe, or treat yourself to a gourmet feast at one of the specialty restaurants. An Array of Unforgettable Destinations
Prepare to have your wanderlust ignited as Resort World One takes you to some of Taiwan’s most captivating destinations. We visited the scenic Chijin Island in Kaohsiung and North Penghu.
The highlight of our Kaohsiung Tour was going up to the Chijin Lighthouse. It’s tiring yet exciting. The view from the lighthouse was spectacular. Make sure to bring extra clothes, an umbrella, and water. Don’t also forget to put sunblock to protect your skin from the direct heat of the sun.
In Penghu, we visited the Penghu Great Bridge, Erkan Historical Village, Tianhou Temple and Daguoye Columnar Basalt. This island was charming, clean and peaceful. I really loved the surrounding area of the Penghu Great Bridge. It's like a venue for Korean and Taiwan TV series- easy living and approachable aesthetic.
Insta-Worthy Parthenon Pool
The vessel's swimming pool is not just a place to dip; it's the heart and soul of onboard relaxation, entertainment, and aquatic bliss. It's one of my favorite spots of Resorts World One. Imagine taking that experience to the open seas, where the sun-kissed skies meet the endless horizon, beckoning you to unwind and rejuvenate. This aquatic oasis serves as a serene retreat, complete with comfortable loungers, plush cabanas, and the gentle sounds from the jacuzzi.
Endless Entertainment at Night
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting an enchanting glow over the ocean, we're gathered in the grand ballroom. The room buzzed with anticipation as we settled into our seats, eagerly awaiting the start of the magical spectacle. The stage was adorned with dazzling lights, setting the perfect ambiance for an extraordinary evening. Suddenly, the lights were moving around, and the magician and dancers made their grand entrance.
Some of the highlights of the show include human levitation, a teleportation act and an amazing performance from the highly skilled contortionist. The magic show was superb! It's the best entertainment on Resorts World Cruises. Another interesting show was the performance of the crew of the cruise.
Rejuvenation and Relaxation
Pampering oneself was effortless on Resorts World Cruises. The onboard spa and wellness facilities offered a sanctuary of tranquility and rejuvenation. They offer massages, refreshing facials, and soothing therapies that melted away the stresses of everyday life. There's a sauna and private pool to try for another relaxation. The world-class fitness center and yoga classes helped me maintain a healthy balance while sailing the high seas.
