Bangkok to Phuket by Bus

The cheapest way to reach Phuket from Bangkok is by bus. The cost is around 650-750 baht per person. The travel time is approximately 15 hours, depending on the traffic condition. It's recommended to reserve your slot in advance by booking online, especially during weekends and peak season. This option is not advisable if you only have limited time in Thailand.

The bus is spacious, and the chair is comfy enough for a long ride. The ticket fee includes a free lunch, complimentary bottled water, and a biscuit. It has a toilet room and carry-on luggage on the top shelf of the bus. The staff will also give you a blank that you need to return at the end of the trip.

For safe and secure booking, you can book your ticket on 12Go HERE, a bus- and train-booking service that operates and specializes in Southeast Asian destinations.

Buses from the Southern Bus Terminal or  Mo Chit Northern Bus Terminal of Bangkok to Phuket are the most reliable and convenient way of traveling between the two cities and take up to 15 hours to reach Phuket. It's much cheaper if you buy a ticket at the bus terminal. But for your convenience, you may it book online for a guaranteed seat on your preferred travel date.
