Situated in the mountain valleys of Tuba in Benguet, Valleypoint Campsite is the perfect place to retreat and relax. It's a serene haven for those travelers who are keen to explore and enjoy the beautiful nature's view and beyond.
Around 20 minutes drive from Baguio City, we reached Valleypoint Campsite. We're welcomed with a breathtaking view of the mountains and towering trees. The reception area and the restaurant were located in the same spot. It features several wooden tables and chairs, soft seat cushions and other furniture.
The property is known for its unique and Insta-Worthy campsites. You can choose to stay in their glamping tents, shared rooms, or kubo rooms. I stayed in one of their kubo rooms. It's a cozy room featuring a comfy mattress covered with white linen sheets. The room comes also with a flatscreen tv, electric fan, water pitcher, drinking glass and electric kettle. They also provide complimentary coffee and toiletries. One of the things that you will easily notice in this room is dreamcatchers. There are lots of it hanging over and near the bed. If you love dreamcatchers, you will surely enjoy this room. The shared bathroom is a few steps from the room. No worries, it's always clean.
For a budget-friendly accommodation, you can stay in their glamping tents. Each tent comes with a comfy bed, pillow and a container box for shoes. It can accommodate 2-3 pax. If you are traveling in a big group ( family or barkda), you can stay in their premium rooms that can accommodate 5-8 pax. It features bunk beds with curtain divider, in-room tv, electric kettle, and own comfort room (CR). Room rate starts 1250/ pax.
There will be free breakfast, PM snack and dinner for 2 that goes with every room. They serve tapsilog for breakfast, pancit canton/bihon for a snack and chicken afritada, boneless bangus and chopsuey for dinner. Breakfast is from 7AM to 9AM; PM Snack is from 3PM to 4:30PM, and Dinner is 6:45PM to 8:30PM. Please be advised that meals are void if not consumed in the given period of time.
One of the best spots on the property is their camper's area or chill area. You can find here a lot of colorful bean bags and big teddy bears. There are also a few books to read. From here, a relaxing view will await you. You can spend a lot of time here because the place was very peaceful especially if you are alone. Food, drinks, shoes, pets and smoking are not allowed inside to ensure the area is always clean.
Aside from accommodation, Valleypoint Campsite also offers several activities like airsoft, archery and Baguio tour. When I tried archery, I felt I'm going to be in The Hunger Games ( movie). The equipment is safe and clean. No worries, there will be a staff that will help you with how to use this equipment. You need to try these outdoor games because these kinds of activities are not usually offered by hotels and resorts. They are fun and exciting!
How to get Valleypoint Campsite
The campsite is easily accessible from the famous Baguio City. You only need to ride a jeepney from Bayanihan Terminal in Baguio City. Look for the jeepney bound for Green Valley, Santo Tomas. The ride takes about 20-30 minutes. But if you prefer a more convenient ride, you can always take a taxi from any point in Baguio. A taxi ride from Baguio to Valleypoint costs around P150. Free parking is available within the premises.
Things To Know
1. Check-In time is from 3PM and onwards. You can arrive early and stay at the restaurant while waiting for the room to be ready. Check-out time is at 11AM the next day.
2. For early check-in or early check-out, please message their Facebook page in advance to check the availability.
3. Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the rooms, tents and kubo. You can consume it at the designated place.
4. Quiet Time is at 10PM and onwards
5. Please deposit the exact amount base on what they required, no more no less, they use the amount as the transaction number, and bind it to your reservation. Always keep the deposit slip or screenshot of the transaction.
6. Due to the limited number of guests at the campsite, the property is implementing strictly no cancellation, no refund and no reschedule.
7. First down, first serve basis. They can only hold your reservation for a day or 2 until further notice.
8. No sock, no entry policy for their camper's area or chill area. Please bring an extra pair of clean socks.
