Is It Worth Living In A Van Full Time?

Lots of travelers, especially the millennials, are quitting their day jobs to have an amazing journey, travel the world and have incredible adventures. This sounds exciting for those who love to travel just like me. One of my ultimate goals is to visit several destinations while driving a campervan. Yes, you read it right! I want to try the van life! I want to give myself that little bit more freedom to travel and explore new things.

I saw a lot of travel bloggers and individuals who left their full-time job sharing their van life experience.  There are pros and cons of van life but most of them are saying that it is worth living in a van. This kind of lifestyle taught them to become adventurous and minimalist and to appreciate more the beauty of nature.

Van life or van dwelling is one of the ultimate dreams for some travelers. It's s a lifestyle of living or traveling in a converted vehicle full or part-time. A campervan (or camper van) is the best vehicle to use if you want to experience the nomadic lifestyle. It packs almost everything you need in a tiny space, and it is easy to drive. It is also an inexpensive form of transport and travel.

Before buying a camper van, you need to consider a lot of factors. You may choose between a new or used car. The new car is likely to be more expensive than a used car and it comes with a warranty. Since you are going to travel a lot, you need a vehicle with better gas mileage and lower emissions, and of course, a van in good condition. On the other hand, buying a used car will not break your bank and it may cost less to insure. Definitely, you'll be needing a calculator to calculate your monthly auto loan payments that will fit your budget if you are planning to apply for a car loan.

Most camper vans offer everything travelers need for a camping trip. Some camper vans feature hob, kitchen sink,  ceiling fan/ vent, audio inputs, toilet built-in, and many more. You don't need a high-end camper van.  It must be simple with enough space that can provide a comfortable space.  If you are on a budget, you don't need a van that comes with a portable toilet or a wet bathroom.  You can take a shower or take a pee/poop wherever there's an available toilet or restroom.

#Vanlife truly represents freedom, adventure and minimalism. It's a life-changing event.  It will give you the ability to take control and live a life as your own boss. You can travel anytime, anywhere at your own pace. You wake up every day with a different view and see amazing sunsets and sunrises. You will also learn new things and meet new friends from all over the world and share each difference and travel story.  Living in a van is fun, exciting and rewarding.

How about you? Would you like to live in a camper van to travel the world?  Please share your van life experience.
