Treat Yourself to a Relaxing Getaway at this Bali Inspired Resort in Nueva Ecija

Bali is one of the internationally acclaimed destinations nestled in the tropical island paradise of Indonesia. It’s home to an ancient culture that's known for its warm hospitality as well as exotic temples, the majestic landscape of hills and mountains, lush terraced rice fields, and white sand beaches.

There are plenty of beautiful resorts in the Philippines where you can experience the world-renowned laidback vibe of Bali. While we aren’t able to visit Bali right now, you can experience the same "Bali Feels" in one of the resorts in Nueva Ecija. Let me introduce "Camp Paraiso". It’s an ideal place for couples, barkada and families who want a relaxing staycation with fun and exciting activities.

Camp Paraiso is a unique eco-stay located about 2.9 kilometers from the town of Bongabon, Nueva Ecija,  which is accessible by land transport via North Luzon Expressway ( NLEX) and just a 4-5 hour drive away from Metro Manila. It offers Bali-inspired attractions including the love nest and swing with overlooking views of the mountains and river. The IG-worthy installations offer a striking resemblance to those attractions in Bali.

Let's talk about their accommodation. Camp Paraiso is designed to accommodate all kinds of travelers - solo, couples, families - you name it! It offers eco-friendly accommodation right in the heart of nature. From nipa huts, glamping tents, and private villas to modern cabins, it has a room that will suit your budget and needs. You will surely enjoy its tropical accommodation surrounded by verdant greenery.

We stayed in one of their Glamping Cabins which can accommodate from 6 to 12 pax. It's constructed with unique architecture to provide modern comfort with the surrounding landscape. The air-conditioned cabin has comfy beds, chairs and tables, a mini-fridge, a private bathroom, complimentary toiletries and coffee-making facilities. Other features include a loft and veranda that opens to a majestic view of the mountains and stunning outdoor pools.

Check the photo below for the rates of the Glamping Cabin

Aside from Glamping Cabins, the resort has Bahay Kubo, Glamping Barkada Tent, Glamping Couple Tent and Private Villa. If you are traveling with your family or in a big group, I recommend the private villa. It can accommodate up to 15 pax. The extra head is just P250. And if you are looking for the most affordable accommodation, the glamping tent is perfect for you. The tent comes with a double bed, pillows, a blanket, fresh towels, and basic toiletries.

A lot of people tagged Camp Paraiso as the "Bali of Nueva Ecija." No wonder why Camp Paraiso is being compared to some of the resorts in Bali. It has Instagrammable Bali-inspired spots with breathtaking views that serve as the perfect backdrop for a unique and travel experience. You can also enjoy short trekking going down to the river and waterfalls. The view from the trails is very relaxing and the flowing water from the river is so refreshing. It's recommended that you wear hiking boots or trail shoes whenever you're going on a hike. You can still use a pair of flip-flops if the trail is not wet and slippery.

The resort has 3 man-made infinity pools filled with natural cold waters flowing from the mountains of Aurora. It's a great recreation spot for people of all ages. The water is clean, safe and has no chlorine. Please watch out for your kids because the main pool is up the 6-foot deep end. No worries, it has pools that are suitable for kids.

Camp Paraiso has an all-day dining venue serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with a la carte options offered throughout. Some room packages come with free breakfast. It has silog meals including topsilog, porksilog, hotsilog, longsilog and many more. Their in-house restaurant also offers Camp Saver Meals, Sizzling Meals, Merienda, hot and cold beverages even Samgyeopsal with a bucket of cold beer or milk tea.

Bolgogi Ala Siera or The Peak, Pancit Bihon, Stir Fry Veggies, Embutido, Fish Fillet and Honey Garlic Chicken are some of the food that you should order. The servings are big and they're all delicious. For the desert, you may try Eggtart and Fruit Coco Pudding also known as “Duang Duang.”

Our overall Camp Paraiso experience was superb! The room and facilities were safe and clean. The whole place was serene and relaxing perfect for those who are looking for a nice place in Nueva Ecija. I also loved the Insta-worthy corners in the resort, particularly the Bali-inspired spots with breathtaking views of the mountains. The staff was great and we had a wonderful time. Not to mention, their food was affordable and delicious!
