Ruined Project? : The Instagram-Worthy Cafe in Tagaytay

Have you heard about a coffee shop named Ruined Project? Sounds Interesting, right? Well, I found this Instagram-worthy cafe in the heart of Tagaytay- something that you could include in your bucket list.

Maybe some of you are wondering why they named this café as Ruined Project?. To make it short, the team behind this coffee shop thought that their project will be ruined as we struggling to face the new normal. Despite the pandemic, the team still decided to push this project, and they came out in an imperfect yet breathtaking cafe. Does that make sense? Anyway, if you are familiar with Coffee Project, the Ruined Project? is their 50th branch in the country.

Ruined Café is located at Crosswinds, Tagaytay. This secluded café surrounded by towering pine trees making you feel you are in Baguio. It’s nice to walk around the area as you feel the fresh cold air passing through the branches and leaves of the trees.

Let’s talk about what’s inside the café. Honestly, I’m overwhelmed. The interior design was superb. The brand keeps the usual rustic and nature-themed interior. I found a lot of interesting books and beautiful plants inside the cafe.  The industrial ceiling, concrete walls, and wooden furniture add to the old and rustic vibes. There are lots of tables and chairs where you can work while enjoying a hot coffee or cold beverage. This cafe is truly a great place for millennials, plantitas, and plantitos of Manila and coffee lovers.

Aside from its well-designed interior, the Ruined Project? has specialty drinks and unique dishes that you will surely love. From brewed coffee, refreshing juices, burgers, pasta, to pizza, this café has something to offer for every customer’s craving.

Ruined Project? reminds their customers that no matter how grotesque or uncertain it may seem, we could always find our way out in the woods.

Make sure to wear your face mask and face shield before entering the cafe. Always practice following the health and safety protocols whenever, wherever you go.

How to get there

From Olivares Rotonda,  you may take a tricycle and tell the driver to ring you to Ruined Project? in Crosswind.

If you are taking your own car, you may take Tagaytay -Calamba Road. I suggest using Waze or Google Map so its's easy for you to reach the destination.

Don’t forget to visit Ruined Project? if you are planning to travel to Tagaytay.
