Looking for a beach near Metro Manila? There are lots of beautiful beaches that you could visit this summer vacation. They are just 2-4 hours away from Metro Manila and accessible by land transportation. Some of these beach destinations have affordable rooms with quality amenities and facilities.  


Here are the must visit beach destinations near Metro Manila

Manuel Uy Beach

Manuel Beach is a secluded beach in the province of Batangas. It features a long-mile stretched white fine sand, blue clear waters and dotted with small trees. Camping is the best thing to do in Manuel Uy. There are no beach resorts nor hotels in Manuel Uy.  The nearest resort here is Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort, known as The Maldives of Batangas.


How to get to Manuel Uy : From Pasay Rotonda (terminal is on the side of Kabayan Hotel and Mrt Taft), ride a van bound for Calatagan (P180). From Calatagan, ride a tricycle and tell the driver to drop you off in Manuel Uy beach (P200/4 pax).

Isla Verde

How to Get to Isla Verde : From Cubao, take a bus bound for Batangas Grand Terminal. Travel time is 2-3 hours. Fare is P160-P180. Bus companies (Jam transit, BLTB, Ceres) serving this route have daily trips that leave hourly. 

Cagbalete Island

How to Get to Cagbalete : Take a bus in Cubao and Pasay bound for  Lucena Grand Central Terminal or SM Lucena City. From  there, take a jeeney or van bound to Mauban. From Mauban market, take a walk to Pantalan port. Then, take a passenger boat going to Cagbalete.

We we're welcomed with some accommodation which made up of natural materials.. The camping site is near the shoreline where colorful tents are being pitched. The camping area is also surrounded by pine trees.

How to Get to Crystal Beach Resort. Take a Victory Liner bus in Cubao for Iba or Sta Cruz Zambales. Tell the driver to drop you off in Narciso. Then, take a tricycle going to the beach. 

Anawangin Island

Anawangin is surrounded by mountains of rocks that to be formed by ages of volcanic activities. The Cove is also to be said the landscape formed after the eruption of Mt. Pintubo in 1991. That’s the reason why the long shoreline of the cove is consisted of volcanic ash and sand mixture. Other beach destinations near the Anawangin Cove is Nagsasa Cove, Capones Camara Island, Liwliwa Beach, and Potipot Beach

How to Get to Anawangin: Take a Victory Liner bus in Cubao for Iba or Sta Cruz Zambales. Tell the driver to drop you off in Pundaquit. Then, take a tricycle going to Pundaquit beach. Finally, take a boat going to Anawangin. 

Puerto Galera

For those people who want to escape the busy life in the Metro, Puerto Galera in Oriental Mindoro is the place to be. It has white sand beaches with cheap rooms. Aside from swimming,  snorkeling and diving are best things to do in Puerto Galera. How to Get to Puerto Galera: Take a Jam bus in Cubao or Buendia bound for Batangas Pier. From there, take a bout going to Puerto Galera White beach.

Matambungkay
