Boracay Travel Guide For First Time Travelers

Boracay is the most famous white beach destination in the Philippines. It features powdery white sand beaches, turquoise waters, calm atmosphere and rich biodiversity. This paradise also features several accommodation, from high-end resorts, transient homes to budget friendly hostels, you can surely find the perfect hotel  within your budget.

In my recent trip to Boracay, I noticed a lot of changes in the island. The long white coastline is overwhelming clean. Cabanas, beach beds, bean bags, wooden tables and chairs are gone near the shoreline. Smoking, drinking, eating, massage service, and hawking are also prohibited in the beach area.. Aside from that, water activities can be done only on the different side of the island.

The fastest way to reach Boracay is by taking a plane. Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific have daily flights from Manila to Kalibo or Caticlan. Travel time is less than 1 hour. Please be advised if you are going to book a flight going to Kalibo, you need to travel 2 hours going to Caticlan.
