Lowe Alpine Silvermark now in the Philippines

One of the most popular outdoor adventure brands in Asia is now available in the Philippines!

Adventure brand Lowe Alpine Silvermark recently opened its first flagship store in the country to provide quality and stylish athleisure gear for Filipino adventurers.

The first concept store is located on the third level of the Mega Fashion Hall at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong city which features the brand's full range of athleisure products including jackets, vests, t-shirts, pants, and Lowe Alpine’s world-renowned collection of outdoor bags.

At the launching event, Lowe Alpine Silvermark set up a cool camping stations at the Mega Fashion Hall activity center. The event was joined by members of the press, online community, shoppers and friends from Lowe Alpine Silvermark Philippines. Guests were treated with great food and drinks and exciting activities like wall climbing, picture taking, watching 3D videos through Gear VR and a lot more!

Silvermark is well-known in a number of territories in Asia, having branches in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Taiwan and Japan. With the entry of Lowe Alpine Silvermark in the Philippine market, the brand solidifies itself as one of the best adventure brands in Asia.

Silvermark was born as a result of a successful collaboration between Lowe Alpine and Hong Kong-based apparel brand Giordano. It differs from other outdoor gear providers in that the brand places importance on contemporary style just as much as it does on functionality, according to Lowe Alpine Silvermark’s Vice President for Business Development Melvin Lim.

Just like Lowe Alpine’s outdoor packs, all Lowe Alpine Silvermark items are crafted using a wide selection of high-quality materials, including fabrics laminated with a proprietary membrane for excellent waterproofing, high-performance garments that keep the skin cool and dry, a finish that inhibits moisture and blocks stains, as well as zippers from YKK, the world's leading zipper brand.

A number of the fabrics used in many items are also Bluesign approved and Oeko-Tex tested, a testament to Lowe Alpine Silvermark’s commitment to providing durability and style to outdoor lovers.

Lowe Alpine opened its first store in the U.S.A. in 1967. Its first product, “The Expedition Pack”, was designed by founder and mountaineering enthusiast Greg Lowe out of necessity; he wanted a pack that can carry all his climbing equipment securely while still being able to move freely through challenging terrain.

From its first store in Colorado, the Lowe Alpine brand is now an international company based in the Lake District in North West England. Lowe Alpine even set the standard for mountaineering bags, with “The Expedition Pack” becoming the blueprint for all modern, rugged backpacks.
