When people hear the word Palawan, the first destinations that usually come to mind are Coron, El Nido, and Puerto Princesa. While these destinations are undoubtedly beautiful, Palawan has so much more to offer beyond its most famous tourist spots.
One destination worth discovering is Busuanga, Palawan—a laid-back tropical escape where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, marine life, outdoor adventures, and peaceful moments surrounded by nature.
If you're looking for a Palawan destination where you can slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere, Busuanga deserves a spot on your travel list.
And for a comfortable place to stay, one resort worth checking out is Yunara Resort, a beachfront property that combines relaxing accommodations with dining, leisure facilities, and exciting activities around Busuanga.
Discover the Natural Beauty of Busuanga, Palawan
Busuanga is one of the municipalities in Palawan and is known for its beautiful coastline, clear waters, islands, marine life, and outdoor experiences.
Unlike some of Palawan's busier tourist destinations, Busuanga offers a more laid-back atmosphere. It is a place where you can spend the day exploring the outdoors and then return to a peaceful resort where you can simply relax and enjoy the scenery.
The area is surrounded by beautiful beaches with fine sand and crystal-clear waters. Whether you're interested in swimming, island hopping, kayaking, sightseeing, or simply enjoying the tropical landscape, there are plenty of ways to experience Busuanga.
One of the unique attractions associated with the area is the dugong, a gentle marine mammal that can be found in the waters around Palawan. Seeing a dugong in its natural environment can be a memorable wildlife experience for travelers who want to experience more than just the usual beach activities.
Stay by the Beach at Yunara Resort
After a day of exploring Busuanga, having a comfortable place to stay can make the experience even better.

Friendly and Local Hospitality
One thing that can make a stay more memorable is the people you meet along the way.
The staff at Yunara Resort are friendly and accommodating, helping create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Another interesting aspect is that many of the staff are locals who have lived in the area for a long time. Their familiarity with Busuanga gives visitors the opportunity to interact with people who know the destination and its surroundings.
For travelers, local hospitality can make a big difference. Beyond the facilities and scenery, it is often the people who help make a trip feel more personal and memorable.

And these are just some of the experiences available. Depending on your itinerary, there are plenty of other outdoor adventures and activities to discover around Busuanga.
Why Visit Busuanga Instead of the Usual Palawan Destinations?

It's a destination where adventure and relaxation can easily go together.
You can spend the morning exploring islands, encounter marine life, enjoy a kayaking adventure, or take a river cruise. Then, instead of rushing from one attraction to another, you can return to your beachfront resort, take a dip in the infinity pool, enjoy good food, and watch the sunset by the sea.
That balance between adventure and relaxation is what makes Busuanga worth exploring.
Experience a Different Side of Palawan
Palawan is more than the destinations that appear most frequently on travel lists.
