Travel Requirements 


Visa requirements are not applicable for Filipino passport holders traveling to Taiwan. Simply presenting your Philippine passport is sufficient for entry. 


Money Exchange


To facilitate currency exchange, having your ATM card on hand and withdrawing funds from a local ATM in Taiwan is advisable. If you wish to exchange Philippine peso for New Taiwan Dollar, it is preferable to do so at a Philippine Money Changer shop rather than at the airport. Alternatively, you can also bring cash to Taiwan and exchange it at a local money changer shop there.

4. Chung-she Flower Garden- Also known as the Chungshe Tourist Flower Market, the Chungshe Flower Garden is a beautiful flower farm located in the Houli District of Taichung. It features numerous major flowers covering more than six hectares of radiating flowerbeds with stunning landscapes that change throughout the four seasons.


5. Rainbow Military Housing- One of the famous spots in Taichung, Rainbow Village offers a vibrant and colorful housing complex where you can find bright colors and unique drawings on the walls. 


6. Ximending-  It is a shopping district that is called the "Harajuku of Taipei" and the "Shibuya of Taipei". The road is full of lights and the atmosphere is crowded and busy. You can find here a collection of stalls selling grilled seafood, fresh vegetables and fruits, snacks, toys, clothes, eyewear, accessories, bags and shoes at reasonable prices.

Lihpao Land- Taiwan's biggest resort park, covering an area of 200 hectares, combines the country's biggest dual land and water theme parks, the Fullon Hotel Liphao Land five-star resort hotel, the flagship escape room, the Lihpao Outlet Mall, Liphao Road Station, the Liphao Racing Park and Sky Dream, Taiwan's biggest Ferris wheel.


8. Yangmingshan National Park- It is located in northern Taipei City and is famous for cherry blossoms, numerous parks, hiking trails, mountainous scenery and beautiful weather. It is the only park in Taiwan that has volcanic geography and hot springs. It's the home of Taiwan's tallest dormant volcano, Seven Star Mountain.

10. Yehliu Geopark- Explore the moon-like landscape and unusual rock formations in Yehliu Geopark. A number of rock formations have been given imaginative names based on their shapes. The best known is the "Queen's Head", an iconic image in Taiwan and an unofficial emblem for the town of Wanli. Other formations include the "Fairy Shoe," the "Beehive," the "Ginger Rocks," and the "Sea Candles".
