Subic Bay is one of the nearest tourist destinations from the Metro. It is just a two-hour drive from Manila which is easily accessible through the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). Subic is an ideal place whether you’re in it for the yachting, beaches, shopping, or food trip. No wonder it is being flocked with local and international travelers year-round, especially in the summer season.

If you want to explore Subic at its best, you can try the sailing. You can rent a sailboat, a speedboat, or a luxury yacht at Subic Bay Yacht Club. You can experience a fancy tour with La Banca Cruises. For only P6000 / hour, you can have a private yacht sailing tour with your family, friends, or loved ones. It can accommodate up to 20 pax. A Subic trip isn't complete without hitting one of the famous restaurants in the town, the  Meat Plus Cafe. Located at the Subic Freeport Zone, Meat Plus Cafe is a must-visit dining spot. It offers a wide range of premium steak cuts, burgers, sides, desserts and refreshing beverages. You can choose the cuts from the restaurant’s freezer and tell the staff how your steak should be cooked. 

Shopping at Royal Duty Free 

Royal Duty Free is one of the best shopping destinations in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. It offers a wide assortment of both imported and local products, catering to the international and domestic tourists for 25 years now. You can find some good deals if you know what to keep an eye out for. Take advantage of their discounted items from fragrances, cosmetics, and luxury items, to chocolates and candies. Royal Duty Free  is open daily from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM.

Praycation at Holy Land Subic

During the Lenten Season, a lot of Filipinos are flocked to Holy Land to pray to recall Christ's passion, his suffering, death and resurrection. It is Sanctuary and Biblical Theme Park at the Subic Freeport Zone, a pilgrimage destination for local and foreign visitors.  Entrance fee is P350/pax.

The El Kabayo Waterfalls and Forest Trail is a great activity for all ages, especially for nature lovers. It is an absolute must-visit if you’re looking for a relaxing place to unwind and escape the busy Metro. Indulge in fun and exciting activities including trekking, swimming, or joining the Jungle Survival Training with indigenous people called Aetas.
