This budget-friendly resort offers a laid back beach getaway in Liwliwa Zambales

Have you been to Liwliwa? If not, it's a laid-back coastal town in the province of Zambales, a perfect destination for backpackers and beach lovers. Just a three-hour drive from the busy metro, Liwliwa should be included on your travel bucket list.

If you are looking for a resort where you can spend your vacation, you may take a look at Zambali Beach Resort. It's a family-owned beachfront property featuring Bali-inspired rooms with a homey vibe. The resort has air-conditioned and fan villas with their own comfort room and private veranda. Each room comes with comfy beds, fresh towels, tables and chairs.

Room Rates

A. P5000 ac room 4pax
B. P4000 fan room 4pax
C. P8000 villa 8pax

What I like about this resort, it's surrounded by towering Agoho Trees ( Resembles a pine tree in appearance.). It's pleasing and relaxing to the eyes. Aside from that, the team of staff is very friendly and accomodating.

This Instagrammable spot in Liwliw has a restaurant that serves affordable and delicious Filipino cuisines. I highly recommend the Bagnet Bowl which is their best seller. Ola Beach, the name of the restaurant, also offers refreshing beverages and alcoholic drinks like beer and cocktails.

Activities to indulge in the area include swimming, surfing, and drinking sessions with a bonfire and ATV by the beach.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Zambali Beach Resort. It provides guests with clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly accommodations. Not to mention, their food is superb! The resort is perfect for those who want to recharge and escape the crowd in the city.

How to Get from Manila to Liwliwa, Zambales

There are two ways to get to Liwliwa: drive or commute. Taking public transportation is the cheapest option. From there, take a tricycle and tell the driver to bring you Zambalei Beach Resort or Ola Beach PH.

Another option is to ride a bus going to Olongapo City. From the terminal, take a bus going to Iba Zambales then drop off in  San Felipe.
