Thanks to the all-new ASUS ZenBook 14 (UX425EA)- a 14-inch ultraportable laptop. It offers an extraordinary blend of maximum performance and proper build quality.
The ZenBook 14 is perfect for those who love to travel a lot and can work remotely. Why do I say that? The laptop is powered by the latest 11th Generation Intel Core processors and comes with next-level Intel Iris Xe graphics and 16 GB RAM, which allows me to multitask efficiently. Aside from that, it’s very portable and has long battery life.
Let’s talk about its design.
The ZenBook 14 is dressed in a compact and elegant all-metal chassis that's a mere 13.9 mm thin, and it weighs approximately 1.17kg. Along with a thin and lightweight design, each features a side profile of less than 14 mm, which results in a sleek form factor that’s easy to carry. It doesn’t use a lot of space on my bag, and it only adds a little weight. Whether I'm in a cafe or beachside, I can do my job wherever, whenever.
Aside from being portable, the ASUS ZenBook series is known for their stunning design with amazing screen display. The all-new ASUS ZenBook 14 now comes in an incredible 2.8K resolution QHD Display – making still and moving images brighter and more alive. Most of my pictures and videos I edit on my laptop. With the ZenBook 14’s 90% screen-to-body ratio, I can multitask efficiently as the bigger screen allows multiple windows to be viewed all at the same time. I can do my writing job while on the online meeting.
How about the battery life?
One of the important specs that I always look for in a laptop is its battery. Remote working in a hotel or resort is made efficient with ZenBook 14, thanks to its battery that can last up to 15 hours on a single charge. Yes, you read it right! I don’t need to worry about running out of battery if there’s no outlet or recharging station near me. It also has a fast charge feature that lets me juice up to 60% in under 49 minutes. Wow, that’s really fast!
Moreover, the all-new ZenBook 14 supports the new ASUS USB-C Easy Charge feature, which allows me to be conveniently charged from a wide range of standard USB-C chargers, as well as enjoy ultrafast charging with any USB-C Power Delivery-certified charger, such as portable chargers or power banks. USB-C Easy Charge takes the frustration out of long journeys or travels in locations with limited main power.
Without comprising its portability, the all-new ZenBook 14 is packed with full I/O capabilities. This includes full-size HDMI and USB Type-A ports, two high-speed Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, and a microSD card reader for easy mobile data transfer. Honestly, I'm happy that the ZenBook 14 has a microSD card reader to easily insert the SD card from my mirrorless camera to the laptop. I don't need to buy an SD card adapter.
By the way, the Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports support fast charging, up to two 4K UHD external displays for an expanded visual workspace, and up to 40 Gbps data speeds for ultrafast file transfers.
Another feature is an edge-to-edge ergonomic keyboard design and a productivity-enhancing ASUS NumberPad 2.0. This is a dual-function touchpad with an integrated LED-illuminated full-size numeric keypad: simply tapping the icon on the touchpad turns NumberPad on and off.
Most of the time, I attend Zoom meetings. Good thing it has ASUS ClearVoice Mic with AI-trained noise-canceling technology to ensure clear voice outgoing communications in online meetings or internet voice calls.
The all-new ASUS ZenBook 14 comes in Windows 10 out of the box, but it will be upgradeable to Windows 11[i] for free upon availability.
