The 10000 Roses Café & More is the most famous cafe in Cebu. Located in Mactan Island, this Insta-worthy place is perfect for your Facebook and Instagram feed. It features thousands of LED-powered roses, the first in the Philippines. Yes, you read it right! They are not real roses. They are artificial roses.
The 10000 Roses Café & More was opened in February 2017 in the humble town of Cordova, just right next to Lantaw Floating Restaurant. The inspiration for the cafe was based on the famous Dongdaemun Design Plaza in South Korea. It features a coffee shop and restaurant serving different types of coffee, juices, pizza, pasta, pastries, sandwiches, salad, spaghetti, and many more.
The Korean-owned café has indoor and alfresco dining spaces with modern and colorful chairs and tables. It has also a viewing deck which is surrounded by glass walls- a perfect spot to see the garden full of white roses. It's magical at night. From here, you will also see the skyline of Cebu City and its neighboring cities and municipalities with mountains in the background.
How to get to 10,000 Roses Cafe
a. From Mactan International airport, you may take a taxi or grab
b. From SM City Cebu Terminal, ride a v-hire going to Cordova. Then, drop at Cordova Grandmall. From there, ride a tricycle going to Lantaw (P10/pax fare). Tell the driver you will go to the 10,000 Roses Café
c. From SM City Cebu Terminal, ride a jeepney going to Parkmall. From the Parkmall terminal, ride another jeepney going to Lapu-Lapu City. Take the one with Tamiya/MEPZ 2 and Opon Mercado routes. Tell the driver to drop you off at SuperMetro just beside General Milling Corp. Then ride another jeepney going to Cordova, at Gaisano Grand Cordova and ride a tricycle to Lantaw or 10,000 Roses Cafe.
