Sandugo Shoes | Review

Having a great pair of shoes is necessary when travelling. Most of the time, I travel to a rural area where roads are not that good. Since public transportation in the province is not that aggressive compare to the Metro, what I usually do is to walk. That's why it's really important for me to have a quality pair of shoes. 

One of the shoe brands I usually use when travelling is Sandugo. It's a Filipino brand which offers footwear especially for hiking or trekking. Sandugo offers a wide variety of  shoes, sandals and slippers. I got the Sandugo Sandals 1201 for only P 1,499. Its color is a combination of blue and gray with the brand's logo, which made of mesh and synthetic leather. The trekking shoes feature durable soles with great traction, midsole designs that focus on supporting the foot for miles. There are holes on both sides that serves as water drainage and ventilation system of the shoes.

When we explored the must-visit places in Sagada and Ifugao, I used my Sandugo shoes. It's really light and comfy. The shoes provide comfort with an excellent breathability and foot bed support.  Even I'm walking for more than 3 hours, my feet was still  fine.  I really recommend this brand.  It handles rough terrain and light loads well. It's also affordable and comfy to feet. 

Travel Tips

• If you are looking for a great pair of shoes, you need to consider these factors; price,  design, comfort, weight, support, water resistance and durability. 
• Wash your shoes with tap water after using it from the sea
• If  your shoes get mud or dust, damp cloth and allow them to dry at room temperature.
• Always allow your shoes to dry at room temperature, away from a heater.
• Don't store your shoes in shoe boxes for long periods of time
