The Sandugo Eiger On A Muddy Dayhike

Some of the travelers are now switching from bulky boots to lightweight shoes for their outdoor activities. Lightweight shoes will keep you energized all the time while walking up and down hills, and on rough terrain mountain. I personally love to use lightweight shoes because it's more comfy and lighter compare to traditional bulky boots. One of the most trusted local shoe brands that I regularly use is Sandugo

I started to use my new Sandugo Eiger on a extremely muddy day hike in Mount Binacayan. The hike was vertical, rocky, muddy and slippery, but my Sandugo shoes was still performed well. It's one of  the best lightweight shoes I used so far. And for the price at P1995, it's the most affordable quality hiking footwear in the market at the moment.

"The Sandugo Eiger is the quintessential all-around hiking shoe – with an outsole rugged enough for trekking, padding and meshes that make it comfortable for trail running, and a drainage system that also makes it a water shoe for river crossings!"

The Sandugo Eiger features synthetic uppers with mesh panels for ventilation and to help shoe dry quickly. It has molded insole with mesh that focus comfortability to support the foot for miles and  and rubber outsole with drainage system which is great spec for river crossing.

I'm not really a fan of a shoe that has a single pull- closure system. I still preferred the normal laces because it adds style and look on the shoes. The Sandugo Eiger shoes tighten via a single-pull tab (“Quicklace” they call it) with mesh storage pocket. What I like about this Quicklace, it's quicker and easier to adjust the shoes.

After the hike, my shoes was really dirty. All mud got stuck at the sole of the shoes. Good thing this pair of shoes was easy to clean. I splashed with cold water coming from the host. I also used my old toothbrush to make sure all the dirt will be removed in and out.

I must say the Sandugo Eiger has the traction, stability, and protection needed for day hikes, quick summits, and lightweight overnights. It's a budget-friendly shoes that you can use on your next hiking or some chill outdoor adventures. The Sandugo Eiger is a great value at P1995 for the lightweight shoes model. It's highly recommended.
