Malasimbo Festival is a yearly event in the island of Puerto Galera in Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. It's one of the biggest music and art festival in the country that aims to promote the eco-cultural tourism of the country.



This year, Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival will be held from March 4 to 6 2015 on the grounds of Mt Malasimbo. It will feature local and international solo artists and bands like Tom Thum, Reo Brothers, Crwn, Lustbass, Kristian Hernandez, Bad Kiss, Mark Zero, Miro, Brigada, The Manila Symphony Orchestra, many MORE!

Attendees of the festival can expect lots of interactive arts and installations artworks displayed around the area as well local instrumental folk groups who will perform onstage and on the main festival grounds.

Party goers and music lovers will definitely lost themselves in the music. They will hear various genres like jazz, soul, world, electronic, EDM, contemporary  music and reggae music

For those who are planning to join the festival, don't be confused on the venue of the event. The festival is not held in White Beach. You need to travel 20 minute going to the event venue. There's jeep shuttle available that will bring you to Mt. Malasimbo.

Wear what you want! You can wear anything as long it's decent and presentable. This is also the best time to wear your tanktop, boardshort, bikini tops, sarong and flip flops.

How to get to Puerto Galera?

For those who have car, from Manila, Take SLEX-STAR Tollway all the way to Batangas Port. For the commute way, take a bus with Cubao Quezon City. Look for bus that has signage Batangas Port. From port, travel with ferry boat going to white beach. Finally, ride a jeep shuttle going to Mt. Malasimbo.
