Many of us take our phones with us wherever we go. We spend a good amount of time on our phones from morning till the end of the day. We check e-mails, update our social networking accounts, play games, listen to music, and take pictures and videos. With the advance technology of today's smartphones, our work become faster and easier.
As a traveler and photography enthusiast, it's essential for me to have a great camera. I bring DSLR, action cam and smartphone every time I have out of town trips. A DSLR provides a better image quality. It comes with a highly advanced autofocus system with wide apertures, much wider than the zoom lenses on compacts. On the other hand, the action camera is a perfect travel gear for capturing actions and views with the extreme adventures. I really love my DSLR and action cam but most of the time I use my phone as the main camera when I travel. Honestly, the reason why I don't much use my DSLR is because its weight and size is inconvenient especiIally when hiking.
Every time I upgrade my phone, I check first the quality of the camera. I know for a fact that most smartphone cameras now can capture great photos and videos. They have almost the same features and performances like DSLR.
Recently I used the ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom on our trip in Camarines Norte, Philippines. With its quality camera and stellar battery life, the ZenFone 3 Zoom is a great pick for travelers.

night or low light shots and photography of backlight subjects.
I took a shot with my travel blogger friend (@kennethsurat) from the top of the rock formation. With the normal shot, he looked so small and I can't see the details of his face. When I used the zoom-in feature, the Zenfone 3 Zoom surprisingly produced a quality image. With its clarity, I'm really impressed. Some smartphones I used before, when I zoom in the camera, the image became pixilated.
With its 5000mAh non removable battery, it's the best battery life ever. I don't need to worry if I forget to bring a powerbank. I have a peace of mind that I can use this smartphone the whole day.
Overall, with its advanced dual-lens smartphone-camera system, 2.3x optical-zoom camera and world-beating 5000mAh battery, the ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom is a perfect smartphone for travelers. I love its superb performance. It packs more zoom camera than I've seen in a smartphone.
Meanwhile, most of the images taken from ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom was shot in Parola Island also known as Pink Beach. It's virgin and unspoiled beach surrounded with semi pinkish color, a mixture of white sand and a rough reddish one (miniature coral fragments). The island also fringed with coconut trees and several plants
