Sinulog Festival is an annual cultural and religious festival held on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City. This much-awaited event is to commemorate the Filipino people's acceptance of Christianity (specifically, Roman Catholicism). Its said to be the biggest and most popular festival in honor of the Holy Image of Senyor Sto. Niño.

A lot of travelers and recreational outdoor enthusiasts are asking where are the beautiful beaches near the Metro. Yes, there are many amazing beaches near the city that offer magnificent view of the sea, white powdery sand, and crystal clear water. One of these beaches is Burot Beach.

Burot Beach is one of the favorite beaches of backpackers and weekend travelers. It is a remote beach located along the shores of Calatagan, Batangas. This beach offers semi-fine cream sand beach kissed by pristine clear waters, beautiful rock formations and unspoiled natural resources.

The unspoiled natural resources and pristine clear water are some of the reasons why travelers are coming back to the beautiful island of Cagbalete. It's one of the jewels of  Quezon province, which located in the Lamon Bay fronting the Pacific Ocean.

One of the unique features of the island is when the white sands exposed during lowtide. It looks like a desert island. You can find the unique pattern of barren area of land.

Cagbalete is long stretch of white powdery beach with unique species of floras and faunas and rich marine life.

Calaguas Island is located in the province of Camarines Norte. It is composed of beautiful islands such as Tinaga Island, Guintinua Island, Maculabo Island and other minor islands. This wonderful place in the Bicol region features a long stretch of beach with powdery white sand, pristine clear water and dotted green trees.

Mahabang Buhangin (Long Sand Beach), the popular beach in Tinaga Island, is the most visited place by backpackers and travel adventurers. It's 2.5- 3KM white powder white beach with crystal clear water and unspoiled natural resources.
